Dhammada Collective
We build with people, places & what's there.
Dhammada Collective is an interdisciplinary design practice working at the grassroots across rural India and its smaller cities. We design buildings, objects, exhibitions, and research alongside the communities and artisans we work with - prioritising salvaged and natural materials, circular methods, and a participatory process. The journey of building, the hands that shape the materials, and the stories that emerge along the way matter to us as much as the finished structure.

Designing alongside the people who will live with the work — listening, drawing and building together.
